It is well known that the cost of travel during the holidays is over non-holiday times. The airlines take advantage of high demand and so do hotels. In the U.S., who have been trained to enforce our rights and those rights include good customer service. In hotels, for example, is not uncommon for some of us to demand more towels clean rooms, long periods of payment. We ask for these things, because we have been conditioned to know that you can get a response.
When it comes to bargain in advance for hotel room rates, Americans fall short. I found that there are great bargains to be had even during holidays and even in New Delhi, one of the most expensive cities in the world. The demand for hotels in this city is higher than most other large metropolitan cities. I set out to prove that, even during the holidays in New Delhi are bargains to be found.
First, check with some of the most active names in travel: Expedia, Travelocity, BookIt, Funjet, Cheapflights, HotelsInc., HotelPlanner, and some others. They showed me great results to find rooms in New Delhi during the high season in December. As an aside, Travelocity has a feature that I like. They have a tab that says "Hotel Secreto." If you click on that tab, a list of no-name hotels with the types of room. The list also includes classification of bookmarks for each hotel. The rates are lower than what can be found on their lists of others and I think it's a very clever way to attract visitors.
I decided to dig further. I looked at three specific hotels you like, to see if they offer some bargains in the room rates during the holidays. Frankly, some of them do not have any rooms available, so I had to find some hotels. I took it as a sign that our economy may be healthier than you thought. People are taking vacations and fill hotel rooms expensive. I found some real goodness honest deals.
For example, Distrikt Hotel in Manhattan revealed that two people can book rooms for less than $ 600 for three nights! For New Delhi, which is a good deal, especially since the Distrikt Hotel is a quality property.
The Wyndham Hotels usually get my attention. In general, they are reliably high quality but not so elegant that offer specials. They typically get above average reviews travelers who stay in their facilities worldwide. The property in Times Square is an excellent place for travelers who want some action right on the pulse of Delhi and is a good hotel. But do they have some hot dishes? Frankly, the lowest room rate that was able to scratch up was $ 330 per night. This rate did not satisfy the search for "deals." A great hotel, but not an agreement in New Delhi hotel.
The St. Giles is also one that we like to see. Both of their properties, Tuscany and the Court are in downtown Manhattan and often offer great discounts. I found a room of about U.S. $ 180 per night at the St. Giles. That's not cheap for a lot of people, but for Delhi, which represents a huge discount with a large hotel.
My unscientific conclusion is that they really are not deals on hotels in New Delhi during the holidays. I found that when the negotiation, not only can complain and say "Is that the best you can do?
